नयनरम्य सृष्टिसौंदर्याने नटलेली कोकणाची पर्यटन स्थळे आणि तिथली प्रेमळ गोडव्याने भरलेली लोक संस्कृती:

नयनरम्य सृष्टिसौंदर्य, इतिहासाचे बुलंद साक्षीदार गड-किल्ले, देवत्वाची मंगलभावना निर्माण करणारी मंदिरे, निसर्गाच्या अनुपम आविष्कारात वसलेले विविध समुद्रकिनारे यांनी नटलेलेल्या कोकणात ऋतुंपरत्वे निसर्गाची विविध रूपं दिसतात. त्यामुळे या प्रदेशात तिन्ही ऋतुंमध्ये पर्यटन बहरलेले असते. पर्यटन क्षेत्रामध्ये विस्तार आणि विकासाच्या अमर्याद असलेल्या क्षमता, पर्यटनाबाबत लोकांची बदललेली मानसिकता आणि आर्थिक स्त्रोतात वृद्धी होण्याची हमखास खात्री या तीन बाबींना केंद्रभूत ठेवून, धोरणं आखली जात आहेत. त्याचे अतिशय उत्तम परिणाम दिसून येत आहेत.
कोकणी माणसाचा कणखरपणा, निधडेपणा, राकटपणा ही त्याला सह्याद्रिच्या भक्कम रांगांकडून मिळालेली देणगी आहे. तर चिकटपणा, काटकपणा इतल्या झाडा-झुडपांनी त्याला बहाल केला आहे. इथल्या नद्यांनी त्याला अडथळे बाजूला सारून सतत पुढे जायची प्रेरणा दिली आहे. त्याची दृष्टी विशाल केली आहे. म्हणूनच निसर्गाशी कोकणी संस्कृतीचे अतूट नाते आहे. एकूणच कोकणाला अभिमान वाटावी, अशी परंपरा लाभली आहे.
कोकणाच्या लोकसंस्कृतीचा तर वेगळा बाज आहे, फका, नमन, जाखडी नृत्य, दशावतारी खेळ, चित्रकथा, मेळे, जत्रा, मच्छीमारांचे सण, उत्सव कोळीनृत्य, गौरीचा नाच, गोमूचा नाच, बाल्या नाच इत्यादी पारंपारिक कला अजूनही जतन करून ठेवल्या आहेत. कालपरत्वे यामध्ये बदल घडत गेला असला, तरी कोकणी माणसाचे आपल्या लोककलेवरील प्रेम तसूभरही कमी झालेले नाही.
महाराष्ट्रात अनेक निसर्गरम्य अशी पर्यटन स्थळ आहेत, तिथल्या सृष्टिसौंदर्याची अनन्य रूपं पर्यटकांना मोहनी घालणारी आहेत. पण कोकणात या वसुंदरेच सौंदर्य काही औरच आहे. साध्याभोळ्या घरंदाज स्त्री प्रमाणे फारशी आभूषणे न मिरवता नारळी-फोपळी- सुरूच्या बनांचा हिरवागर्द शालू त्यावर फळा फूलांची
मस्त कलाकुसर आणि रूपेरी वाळूने चमचमणार्‍या सागरकिनार्‍यांचे भरजरी काठ अशा अद्भूत प्रावरणाने नटलेली कोकणची वसुंधरा या सौंदर्याबरोबरच तीच्या मनात दडलेला कोकणी मायेचा  ओलावा येथे येणार्‍या पर्यटकाला नेहमीच ओढ लावतो. माझ्या मनालाही  इथल्या पर्यटन स्थळांनी अशीच मोहीनी घातली.

It is showing very good results.

The toughness, tenacity and ruggedness of the Konkani man is a gift he received from the strong ranks of the Sahyadri. It is endowed with stickiness and toughness. The rivers here have inspired him to move forward, overcoming obstacles. His vision has been widened. That is why Konkani culture has an inseparable relationship with nature. Konkan as a whole has a tradition to be proud of.

The folk culture of Konkan is different. Traditional arts like Faka, Naman, Jakhadi dance, Dashavatari games, Chitrakatha, Mela, Jatra, Fishermen's festival, Utsav Koli dance, Gauri dance, Gomu dance, Balya dance etc. are still preserved. Although this has changed over time, the Konkani man's love for his folk art has not diminished.

There are many scenic tourist destinations in Maharashtra, the unique forms of natural beauty are captivating the tourists. But the beauty of this planet in Konkan is something else. Like a simple housewife, without much ornamentation, coconut-fopli-cypress greenery shalu with fruit flowers on it.

Along with the beauty of the Konkan world, the beauty of the Konkan, which is adorned with wonderful craftsmanship and the sparkling shores of the seashore glistening with the silvery sand, the moisture of the Konkani Maya hidden in her mind always attracts the tourists who come here. I was fascinated by the tourist spots here.
